Commerce Bank Kiss Cam at the Royals Fan Fest!

We were provided our branded social booth for Commerce Bank to do a Kiss Cam activation during the Royal’s Fan Fest this year. We did a custom background of Kauffman Stadium from home plate looking out and we wrapped our brand able social booth with a custom vinyl. We also made custom baseball themed photo booth props.

Over the weekend we collected 943 contracts, took 857 photos with 1572 people in those photos and had 5786 photo impressions. For social media 54% of the people shared on Facebook and 35% shared on Instagram, leaving 11% between Twitter and SnapChat.

Overall this was an amazing activation, a lot of fun, a new experience for us, we’ve never been to a Royals Fan Fest and the guest loved the fact that we used the same graphic that the Royals use during the games for the Kiss Cam. Thanks Commerce Bank!

Ultrapom Event Rental Open House

Our friends moved into a new warehouse and had a party! Ultrapom threw a party for all their vendor friends and the wonderful Deanna Johnson of A Day to Adore Photography, took photos of the event. We had our Bus Mary Lou Blue and our social booth at the event! She did an amazing job with the photos and captured Rossi Beth having so much fun. This was an event we were able to order a custom background that fit the theme of the party so well!

Not your typical photo booth background! Think outside the norm.

Are you looking for a photo booth background that isn’t your typical background. When your planning your event check out the venue for a cool wall. Or we can build a flower wall for you or a balloon wall. We work with the Kansas City Chiefs a lot and this event we do every year and the client wanted to do something different for the background and I remembered that they have a really cool comic wall or history of the Chiefs wall and we used it. It worked out perfect!

Mr & Mrs The Photo Bus

It seems like it took an eternity to arrive, and then it was gone.

John and I finally got married at The Roasterie and of course The Photo Bus was there... it is, after all, how we met and John proposed in one. (You didn't know that? Read all about it here!)

The most exciting part about having our VW photo booth at our own wedding was finally being able to show all of our out-of-town friends and family just what this business is all about... and we made a super awesome custom sign with our last name to go on top. It was a HIT! We had it in the background during the first dance with my dad...

... and toward the end of the night we had to run the bus because, well, why not? We were super dressed up and it make for a really fun photo-op!

Now offering photo strips!

It only took John 3 hours, two unhelpful phone calls, and a bazillion mess-up prints [pictured below] to get it to work yesterday (and about 4 hours a couple of months ago)... but The Photo Bus now offers film strips at no additional charge!

We still prefer the 4x6 prints as they are faster and the images are larger, but now the choice is yours!

KC Crossroads Block Party

The Photo Bus is going to be so busy this year with private events that we are only able to attend TWO First Fridays in the KC Crossroads (unless we get a third bus, but that might be awhile)! This first one was amazing! We had our VW photo booth in a new location because we were participating in a rocking block party. There seemed to be a competition with Snow&Company's outdoor bar the entire night for who could have the longest line! Snow&Co miiiight have won that battle for the majority of the night, but rumor has it our line moved faster! (Hooray you're-in-charge-of-the-button-and-super-fast-printer-technology!)

It was so great seeing old friends, past brides/grooms, future brides/grooms, furry friends, and making new friends! We're making it a priority to be at more public events in 2015!
